D2Hs in the Morning

So I have an assignment for work that I'm shooting on my own so I have a Nikon D2Hs body and a Tamron 28-105mm f/2.8 lens to go with it for the weekend. I woke up early this morning and went out to take some photos behind my house. I've also been thinking of getting a new lens for a while now as the one I have (Nikon 18-70mm [D70s Kit]) is a bit soft, I'm loving this Tamron lens so who knows maybe I'll get it.

I'm flying out to Cuba later today with some good friends to spend a week in the sun and the ocean. This means a couple things;
1. There will be no posts for a week.
and
2. There will be a lot of photos when I get back.

Also I've been working on my website for the past 2 months or so, the layout and all that good stuff is complete, however I have to go through my archives to compile some of my larger series into smaller ones. I was hoping to have it done before I left but that didn't work out, so you'll just have to wait.

Anyways I should go to sleep sometime soon, and I hope you have as much fun this upcoming week as I plan to have.

The rain is coming down hard,
as drops of water hit the ground
the thunderous sound rebounds.

I walk on through with windswept hair,
no tears just rain against my face,
with haste I walk

And as I look through store front's glass,
they stare at me from inside out
as if I pass through foreign lands,
a clue without.
